Superb players grade vintage Gibson Les Paul, 54 years old, playing great and sounding awesome!
Plenty of honest play wear to be seen, no structural repairs, no headstock breaks, no refinishing work, a much loved and much played workhorse that has survived the test of time and is ready to rock for another 50 yrs, the original semi-soft case has long gone however the guitar benefits from the very nice vintage Hamer Les Paul case the fingerboard and frets are in great shape, all of the components are original, fantastic sounding P-90 Pickup, the front of the body is in
very good shape, as you’d expect,the back is a little more worn, the perfectly round finish damage could really only be caused by someone using the back of the guitar as a rest for a hot cup of tea or coffee, something hot has burned through the nitro in a perfectly round pattern, it lines up perfectly with various cups and mugs that we have here, now that’s what you call “roadworn”.
The finish doesn’t really matter, its all about the tone, this guitar has it, it sounds simply awesome, you could take this guitar to any gig or club and you do not have to worry about a little ding here or there, a superb vintage Gibson Les paul.
